Man... It was a man. lol $60+tip later and I'm one angry woman... lol To top it off, he insisted on dry cutting it even after I told him that I was told that dry cutting isn't suggested for my hair type... He did it anyways... Guess who was right? I'll give you a hint... Not him... lol

As a guy, I usually don't have to worry about the haircut thing as much but one time I did tell the lady to only take off 1/2" on top and instead she left me with a 1/2" inch. Apparantly she misheard me!

She looks a lot like my PP Periwinkle. She was bright blue when I got her but has a teeny bit more of a purple tint now that she's molted. She doesn't really have the red on her legs though.

Sheesh! That is one BLUE crab!! She looks gorgeous! The eyes do look a little bit weird, but I'm sure you'll get used to them. :)

Ah, *Kathy*, if I may be so bold as to bump this old thread with a photo update from your other recent choya thread -

Ambrosia, over a couple of weeks ago:

Drumroll pleeeez...Ambrosia, seen NOW!

I guess as Megs said, it is just a temp thing. However, I expected the color return with the next molt, not during the intermolt phase....

The eyes still have that little "eyeliner" thing going with the light color, and it seems the antennae still have a little of the blue going on.

Fascinating little buggers, aren't they? 8)

BEAUTIFUL!

Simply amazing :)

*Kathy*, this has probably been asked a million times, but what kind of substrate are you using???

Can someone answer this for her, if they already know??

Thankx!

Angela.....I use Ecco Earth on one side of the tat, and playsand on the other. I really want to add beach sand, but I am so fearful that some organism might kill my babies.

I bought one of those stainless screen scoopers from PetSmart, they are for reptile tanks...and you can kinda shake the dirt out in sections, and then just throw away the poop ;)
