I found one under water a while ago and when I tried to rescue it, it just walked away. It seems they can stay underwater for some time, btu I have found drowned ones, too.

I sometimes (perhaps "always") find one getting eaten by my resident Queen Crab, Lachesis (formerly named Diogenes!/Gus-Gus/Syrup...)

*sighs*

They're not that bad, in other words, they aren't pests or parasites to the hermies (although if the pillbugs carry mites, I'm not sure if those mites will spread to the hermits...maybe, maybe not). Hermies, on the other hand, might find them as a convenient source of comfort food...:smt047

My rollie pollies keep falling into the glass water dishes with no way to get out! I am thinking about attaching some netting, but the crabs will probably mess it up.

I have lost two rollie pollies so far because of drowning, and I have saved around seven.

I'm so doing this in the next few days. I'll write about it on my site. I wonder how many I need for a 90 gallon.

Hmmmmm.

I've got bazillions in my back yard.

i just got 5 or 6 today. one of them is carrying around a bunch of babies so i don't want to get any more, lol.

my only concern is that they'll over populate. (that would mean time for a deep clean) :|

You can always draw some out by putting in a piece of watermelon and then collecting them the next morning.

Well, big rainstorm today, no bugs for me, but the moisture will make them even easier to find. I'll let you all know how it goes.
