Tap water question

Tap water question

Would it be okay to boil tap water and then let it sit and give it to the crabs?

if you let it sit at least 24 hours, the chlorine should evaporate.

Many municipal water supplies have gone away from using chlorine and now use chloramines instead. Chloramines do not dissipate with time like chlorine does.
I'm not really sure how boiling would affect either substance, but I don't think it'd break them down like a commercial dechlorinator would.
