I see you have PP's-they're pretty tolerant in the way of crabs. some species couldn't tolerate the lows, but your temps are alright as long as it's not a quick fluctuation. 85 shouldn't be harmful-other more experienced crabbers may comment on this better than i could.

Thank you! Im curious what temperature do you keep your crabs at?

My tank stays in the 80-85 range. My thermometer is set in the center of the tank with the heat lamp on one end and no heater (for now) on the other, so that's average temp range. It doesn't get but a few degrees below 80 on the cool side even at night if it drops at all. My crabs love it. PPs are more active, not to mention the Es. I also have violas and indos and every species loves the higher temps.

Mine is 75-90 degrees F in different areas of the tank. Directly under the heat lamp has reached 90+ and further away from the heat sources is around 75. The humidity readings also vary in my tank from about 78%-90%.

If my tank gets lower than 80 and higher than 85 (give or take a few, of course) they tend to hide and not come out as much - so thats generally where I keep my temperature.

If you can, you need to experiment with different temperatures and figure out what your crabs enjoy best. :)

On the warmer side, the daytime temp with the lamp on gets to be 85 give or take a degree, and the cooler side is about 79 give or take.

At night I have only the UTH on and the tank goes down about 4-6 degrees.

The humidity stays at about 78-80% during the day, and goes up a few % at night when the lamp is off.

96oF, but you shouldn't let the whole tank be that hot regardless, there needs to be cooler places.
