hi~ the box of the aquarium shelf system is not that big- I can flatten the box, and take out the shelf so we can fit more things that way- i think rough dimension is like 1.5" deep by 12" by 10" or something like that(box), bt stuff itself is smaller than that.
is there anything else you need though? I have ultratherm heatpad(6"x23"), and tropic aire humidifier that you can have- but i get a sense that you might not need either!? vines? if you have a list of things, I will see if I have those, and put them in the box for you! it must suck how you can't easily get crabbing supplies overseas ..

thanks so much!! Well right now my shell holder broke so shelves are the main items i'm looking for :/ Also looking for medium-going-to-large shells and small-going-to-be medium shells. I swear i have tons of those but the crabs refuse to change into them. the violas only wear fox/murexes and one even wear an odd shell that extends out to the other end of the tank.
I'd be happy to pay for those if you have extras I'd love to have more vines!! and fishing nets. i think thats all i need for now. Thanks so much for all your help!! I'd be happy to pay for the items

oooh, so you need more shelving system, right? I have one extra corner caddy, that you can just have. I will stop by USPS today to see what size box they offer. I have two extra vines(one medium thickness, and one small thickness) and you can just have them. I bought them awhile ago, and I no longer need these.. and I also have ton of cholla branches, and I will try to fit these in. I got this crazy idea for the shelving system- i have some extra egg crates left over, and I can make a background for you with some spray foams. You can use the egg crate to tie up the shelving system to it- it would be more secure than the suction cups that they offer in the box(they come off pretty easily). I will try to draw up some plans, and you can see them. I will get home after 6pm, and sill post it here for you to check out (its about 11am right now). I hate to see these things to go waste, and its better if someone can use them.. so you don't need heating pads, or humidifier?

ohh, can you tell me your tank size for the background? I will try to cut up the egg crate to be used as a background for you( and these will be modular, so it can fit into shipping box).

Getting some items from you is already saving me lots and nope, i don't need the heater or the humidifier since its the tropics here all year round. Thanks for the offer!!!! *squishes tightly*

my background after discounting a bit of the tank sides(i have this wierd side thing at the top that prevents me from putting whole pieces of background into the tank) is about 25 inches by 15 inches. i have 6 inches of substrate so the height becomes about 9-10 inches? my width of the tank is 11 inches (after discounting the glass that makes it 12 inch) if you need that thanks again for all your help!!!

lol so lucky. i always have to worry about heating/ and humidifying the tanks here. I love making things for my crabitat, and would love to make one for you since I have a lot of random supplies left over from making the large enclosure. I got some extra spray foams, and cocofibers, so I want to make some cool background for your tank! If you dont mind waiting for a bit, I can put progress pictures on the forum for you to check out and don't worry about troubling me, because Id probably would easily make one up for my friends here if they needed one and they love hermies!
so I would need a tank dimensions for background, and its this part here
I need them in inches!

ok, so I will cover the eggcrate with spray foam with your substrate depth in mind. I will need the background glass dimensions. once I have that, I will cover it with foam minus 6" from the bottom that will be buried in the sand/EE. I Think picture is definitely easier to understand, so I will make simple background for you, and you just poke a hole with sharp object to fix the shelf with a string. I wished I was at home right now to make it! its such an exciting project!

thank you so much for all your help!!
here's the tank dimensions
those things at the top sides and the middle was already there when i got it. its glass and well just takes up space when i want to put things in and take things out. i've never tried removing them since i'm scared it might shatter when the crabs are in there. :/
to have a better idea:
i hope you can see those 3 things in the tank above. my tank looks nothing like that now. its bare, the shelves broke and i removed everything because the crabs trashed everything. the only thing left in there is the tree branch thing.

ok, that's what they look like out of the box. I think they are definitely for the looks, and not so much to really contain anything. You can probably put layer of pebbles or sand... but they look nicer on the tank, than by themselves. lol thats why you should take it from me( i've already bought it) than buying it yourself!. I have 5 sets of these(one new, 4 opened), so let me know how many sets you want

ok, got it. I will go home, and cut out the eggcrate for you- I will come up with background design that will optimize the space without taking up too much space from your hermies. the thickess of the background will be no more than 3/4" to 1" max!

oh those look good! So much better than the stuff i get here not to mention its ridiculously expensive if i can find anything half decent.
I'm not sure how many corner ones you have? i would 2 corner and just a normal one. if not just 3 sets that you don't want the most Thank you so much once again for helping me!!

lol okay, you can have all three sets- i think each set comes with one large corner, and one smaller corner. you will get 6 pieces. I am guessing you can maybe add some on the front corner of the tank to maximize shelf area. I will keep that in mind when I design background for you~! I can probably finish it by this week. do you have any background design in mind? if you have any pictures that you want to incorporate into a background, you can send me a picture or post it here on the forum.
