Virtual Adoptable Hermit Crab

I tried but I don't know what I'm doing. What are you meant to do with the adoptable pets? I've never used the site befoe

Adoptable pets are essentially images that you click on to feed/level up/visit the portrayed animal. They then "grow" into another form/image when visited/fed/leveled up enough. The pet I created is essentially a land hermit crab. It starts off as an egg, then grows into a zoea and then finally a land hermit crab.

I don't know if you have to register with the site or not in order to adopt the hermit crab.
