Sure sounds like a normal, healthy crab to me...I swear, they're just like teenagers, with shells!SoulEater wrote:Well only a small, microscopic bit each but after that they drag it around the whole tank and leave it where they want to. Mine doesn't really care about meat to be honest and i cook it too cause i'm not sure whether its clean or not to serve raw.
They're not eating their carrot

I'm not sure if they would attack live crickets... They might sit and stare at them until they died, then eat them...Hermycrabitat21 wrote:would they attack the live crickets if i put them in? and large or small? at petco they have freeze dried crickets.. would they eat that to?
Large or small, no difference. Freeze-dried would be fine, too.

SoulEater...I guess then I"m not the only person awake and staring at the crabs in the middle of the night.
Hermicrabitat21, I'm extremely new to crabbing but with my picky children and crabbies I've learned it's all about variety...keep offering as many different choices as you can; they'll get what they need, and you'll learn what they like.
On another note, King Henry VIII, has been eating peanut butter and honey off a toothpick for me this weekend. Once, he even reached up, grabbed the toothpick, and pulled it down for better access!
