I hope she's going to molt! You've done a wonderful job with her!

In the main tank- you can try offering different proteins (not mixed together) in various shells throughout the tank. Maybe it will help the crab that has been attacking your molters feel like he/she has more protein choices. Some of my crabs favorite proteins are: steak, boiled egg, meal worm, and boiled shrimp. You could also leave a dish of mixed nuts.

Please keep us updated!

I really think she was trying to dig as there's a little pile of fluffy dug sand, and she hasn't moved from the same spot for the last two days. She's still alive though, and her antenna start waving like crazy when I bother her. I blocked off the opening of the cocohut today and I'm doing my best not to peek on her for a few more days. (It's really tough not to run in there and check on her every few hours.)

I've read every post I hope she pulls through my one crab, Pebbles, is buried right now! I get soo anxious to how long it's gonna take and if my crabbies are gonna be alright. He has only been buried for like 6 days now, but it feels like it's been 2 weeks! He will prob stay down for at least 20 more days because he is a medium/large crab and I can't wait to see his colors when he resurfaces!

Fingers crossed for her! About blending coconut - if you ever want to attempt it again, buy a drinking coconut. You can get them in from fruit and vege places, and from Thai or Chinese take away food places for a few dollars each. They are no where near as ripened as the coconuts sold for coconut meat. They contain a lot of liquid and the meat in them is very soft, sometimes even gel-like.

Hi Wodesorel
You have done all you can I think but was wondering if she has been given access to salt water as well as fresh. When Robbie was like that I sat him in salt water dish (shallow) and then in fresh water every day until he grewa molt sac .Then put him in cocohut in a depression in the moist sand with a leaf of Kale.He grew gel limbs very quickly once in the hut, then molted.I hope your little Sunshine pulls through!!! It is looking good. Kathy

Two days ago I moved her out of the cocohut and put her in front of food to see what would happen - she ate a few pieces of coconut and then went back inside to dig, so I moved her into the molt iso where I think she'll be more comfortable. (Hannibal is the only one in there now, and he's been disturbed twice in the main tank from molting so I'm sure he won't bother her. He's gone 18 months since his last molt, so he's overdue!)

I checked on her yesterday and she had managed to dig herself in just a little bit more, so I covered her over and I'm going to sit on my hands (okay, maybe duct tape them) and not check on her for at least a week. I got the room upstairs cleaned up and moved around, so she's in a better location and it'll stay quiet.

Oh my gosh that sound so sad. I'm really sorry. I wish I could give you some great advise, but you really do know what you're doing. It must be so frustrating, but just don't give up ok. I'm sure your crab appreciates what you're doing.
