Moose is back up after a 3 month molt!

Moose is my biggest one and I always worry when she molts because the bigger ones are down so long. Her first molt with me a year ago was just under 2 months, then this summer she was only down a month. She dug down this time on 12/17 and just came up on 3/11 so I was starting to get worried. She looks fine and even a bit bigger. I think she's in need of a bath! I bet she'll trash a water dish in the next few days.

Here she is chowing down on mineral supplements.

Glad to hear he made it through another molt! I'm always on pins and needles when my big guys go down, too.
