I didn't check the rest of the store only the hermies. I didn't really get to see the hermies since they were hiding in the back, but you could see little silver crawly things of different sizes crawling everywhere.

They sound like springtails or thrips - both harmless, both in there for the moisture and the substrate and the poo. Mites aren't silver - food mites are white or beige and shiny, and harmful mites can be grey, red, white, or brown and would be on the crabs.
