I had really wanted to ask how much you had put it into it, but I didn't want to come across as being too nosey. I knew it was going to be up there, but that number is quite shocking! Still, it's going to be a joy to watch and observe for years to come. They are certainly worth the cost if you can afford it, and I would love to have a sustainable eco-friendly salt-water tank if I ever had the chance.

Wodesorel, you can ask me anything, anytime lol- it is a hard bullet to bite though, but it was easy to get the hubbies approval, he has ALWAYS wanted a SW tank. He gets a reef, I get crabs... it's a win/win...

IF you are keeping anemones, other than the minimaxi varieties, I would suggest two things, A) that the tank be more mature before adding them say 6-12 month old and stable and B) that you upgrade the lights to LED, Halide or T5s.

Having said that MHC are fascinating. I have several in my nano and they are a blast to watch.

Hey Keith, thanks for the input. Yeah, I learned the hard way on the anemone I had to take it out this morning, it's not dead yet, but not looking good. I'm hoping I can get him back to the LFS this afternoon and crossing my fingers it's not too late for a full recovery. It'll be a while before I try that again. I also lost my Sally Lightfoot Crab, no clue why because everything else is thriving including the two fish. The LFS guy said prob just a bad molt... idk- About the lighting, the lights in the BioCube are LEDS, so that should help with future anemone care. Keep in touch

Eek. I was a bit worried when you said you had a kid from the shop come and help. I was hoping they knew what they were doing, but well.. Everyone makes mistakes?

Never hurts to double-check information that a shop gives you. (As we have all learned with our hermits.)
