What's on today's menu & recipe sharing ~2012~

Mine are having fruit "salad" (banana, cranberries, coconut...etc.) A slice of fresh apple drizzled with a tiny bit of honey. Also there are some peanuts in it. All that and my protein mix which is fought over they love it so much... I forgot the shrimp that was for dinner at the store...oops.

My crabs hopefully are going to be happy with dinner...it is stinking up my place lol. Shrimp, salmon, half a sardine, an oyster, and for desert raspberries cause I ran out of their favorite bananas and strawberries. Protein packed dinner tonight

So One of my guys just got done molting (well 3days ago he came up) I piced him up and checked him out. He is getting some beautiful coloring His purple pincher is really standing out and he is gaining a reddish orange color. When I first got him he had a grayish blue claw a little orange and a lot of white. So I guess I'm feeding them the right stuff Anyways, tonight is tangerine, macadamia nuts, Oats and honey, Salmon, egg, and egg shell, and a green pepper.

First time for broccoli! I saw my E, Ghidrah, taste testing it, he seemed to like it. Also they got clam, carrots, my protein powder mix, green beans. I was lacking creativity tonight! (my boyfriend laughs because I share my food I make with my pets- but he helped me decide what to give them one night so heehee.)

Tonight's menu:
Salmon
Sardines -they love them especially the Es
Oats and honey
Papaya
Apple slice

The broccoli was a big hit last night so ill be getting more!

Tonight the hermies get:

Fresh Coconut right out of the shell
Hard boiled egg and shell
Piece of an Orange Pepper

Finally the store got cuttlebones in so they got new ones!

Tonight is avocado,Banana, egg shell, salmon, pumpkin, pumpkin seed, and cranberry, and rice.

Last night they had a big meal, so tonight theyre getting eggshells, egg, and some broccoli!

Mine get fresh kiwi, an egg noodle with a bit of sesame oil on it (one E is going to eat the whole thing at the rate he is going!), shrimp, and some dried mango and cranberries

Simple feed today, hermit crab salsa. A.K.A, chopped grapes and cucumbers topped with a sprinkle of krill and a side of cuttlebone =)

Hopefully I will add a new guy/girl so I'll be feeding my best stuff. Salmon w/ skin, chicken, chicken bone, egg shell, avocado, various nuts, orange, carrot, and mango.

So that whole best stuff was a bust. It was just salmon, pineapple, and egg shell >_< BUT tonight I cooked chicken mixed with extra virgin olive oil, almonds,pecans, parsley and oregano all simmered in a pan then I put in avocado, pumpkin, mango, carrot, and eggshell.

Fluffy...you have 2 (now 3 I see) crabs and they eat all of that lol?? I have 8 (lost one last night) and they don't eat that much combined lol.

Anyway, mine are having fruit salad: mango, dried banana chips (their favorite! They don't like fresh banana oddly), peanuts, cranberries, with a side of the thermometer Biollante just knocked in the food dish... and shrimp. They have been eating the cuttlebone dish (clamshell) more than the cuttlebone but that's in there too. Tomorrow (hopefully) if I get the new adoption crabs all my crabs are going to have a high protein dinner, the 2 have been eating nothing but hermit pellets! Yuck.

haha, they hardly ever finish it all, I give them small peices of each. Big enough so they can tear it up but small enough so not a lot is wasted. And sometimes I get excited i guess, lol, and I keep saying "oh that would be good for them tonight, oh that to." I have to actually tell myself "okay if I give them this then they can have this later." It's weird. >_<
