Last year when I got wode's (huge) package of food, most of it was gone within days, my guys couldn't get enough of it!

Thank you all so much! :D

I really do love gardening, and I have lot of fun with drying and making these packs. I look forward to this time every year now.

(Might I add - weed block is the best gift to gardeners EVER. Holds in water, blocks out weeds - it's been a blessing this year!)

All packages that have been paid for will ship tomorrow morning - I'll be finishing sending out the tracking info in a little while. If you don't hear from me by morning and you should have a package going out, let me know!

Since both the Samplers and the Colony box have sold out (wow!! :D ), and because there's enough stuff rolling in from the garden, I'm going to do another food box for pre-order with shipping starting on 8-12. I'll put the details in the first post, but if you'd like one, PM me to let me know to hold one for you and payment will not be due until after I've contacted you to let you know that everything is dry and ready to go. I'm a few items short of completing the boxes, and the only thing holding me up is how much I can fit on the dehydrator!

I got my colony box today! so many awesome goodies I'm not sure what to feed first.
Is it weird that I think that the crab cookies smell yummy? I promise I won't try to eat them though :hlol:
The lilac flowers smell super wonderful too.
Really I could go on and on about all of the wonderful things that were included

I'm glad you like it so much! :D

So.... true fact.... the first test I did with the crab cookies was minus any coral or amaranth, so it was completely human-safe.... I snacked on quite a few of them! They really are delish. :D Not sweet, but still desert-like and unbelievably filling. If lembas (Elven Bread from Lord of the Rings) was real, I imagine it tastes something like those cookies. Unfortunately I had to dry them out all the way to make them shelf stable for more than a few days, so even if they were still human-safe they would not be fun to eat.

One small bite is enough to fill a grown hermit crabs stomach 8)

Apparently I'm still learning to count  so there's a replacement in the new Summer Sampler of Marigold instead of the originally listed White Lilac as I won't have enough of those left. Also, I cannot get Turnip and Parsnip strait to save my life! The box will contain TURNIPS - the thingies with the purple shoulders. :D

I put up a few new photos tonight of some of the items that are dried and ready. Pickles and White Eggplant are on now and should be done by this evening. I'll need to do at least 2 more batches after this to have enough of everything. I'll be cutting it close, but they should be done by Sunday night!

I received your box yesterday!!!! I was so excited to open it and see all the goodies, there is so much more than I ever expected in there!!! You truly outdid yourself and its wonderful! I just have a question hahaha what is a good way to use the coconut nectar? Should I just sprinkle it on their food, or mix it in something? Just curious. Thank you so much again for this amazing box of treats, I can't even decide what to give them to try first hahaha

The coconut nectar can be sprinkled on top of, or mixed into, anything you offer them, or you can offer it straight up as a treat. (Same as with honey. :) )

Update - we got rained out here the last few days so I'm like a day or two behind schedule. The last of the Green Beans and the flowers went on the dehydrator a few hours ago. With it being so humid right now, it may take up to two days for everything to be ready. So tentative ship date of Wednesday morning!
