Re: Danys ?-Coenobita-breeding-thread
At this stage is keeping them the same as keeping marine hermit crabs?
Pyre Shep Nina,GSD Balotelli,30 Purple Pinchers,1 Red Foot Tortoise,1 Russian Tortoise,7 Rabbits,4 Ruggies,3 Indos,3 Strawberries,16 Aussies,1 Reeves Turtle,one 20 gal Mollie Tank,two 5 gal nano freshwater planted tanks with Bettas,one 29 Gal Freshwater Tank,2 Guppy/Mystery Snail breeder tanks
Re: Danys ?-Coenobita-breeding-thread
in a running marine aquarium there are natural filters (live rocks), streaming pumps, other technical things, algae and sandy ground etcetera.
Well, in my opinion and experience the transition pool should be as clean as the kreisel or larvae tanks. Without any stuff in it.
Need daily water change, because of the food. Water can get bad very fast.
But I have never tested to keep them like my marine ones. I only had one chance to get them to land. With a little bit of luck I will have them onto land a second time in the next weeks

Bad news: The last larvae are dead.
If I have new larvae, I'll let you know.

It's breeding-time again!
On July 15. about 3000 larvae and a day later again about 3000!
I'm a little busy at the moment, so more facts and pictures will follow in a few days.

Congrats on the new babies. I really hope these ones turn out for you as you really deserve it - with that amazing crabitat, the least they could do it make some eggs!
