OK, I placed an order  But I didn't get any choice for payment (maybe because I picked international??). I'm hoping I can pay with creditcard eventhough I'm from Canada...is that an option?

Yep! I'll get your order packed up and then send you an email with the adjust shipping costs. If you like what you see I'll send a Paypal Invoice that will allow you to pay with a credit card!

yay! I'm so excited to try your foods! When you email me is it possible to also let me know how much more I can add to the package before shipping goes up more?? Although I have to say your shipping rates are quite reasonable for shipping to Canada!

How far out should I order food? Like if I order it in the next couple weeks but don't get our crabs until January, will it keep for that long? I'm looking at the Sampler Pack and the New Owner Starter Kit.

Our food will keep at room temperature for several months (some items for over a year) so long as it's kept cool, dry and dark. If in doubt - freeze it! Frozen dried food will keep for years, as there's no water in it to cause freezer-burn and the cold temps preserve the vitamins better then room temp.

Excellent. Can I feed it to them straight out of the freezer or should I thaw it first?

I go straight from the freezer to tank myself so long as it's not a giant amount. The hot crabitat will defrost it in just a couple of minutes. If you wanted though you could leave it sit out for 15 or 20 minutes first. :)

I am seriously considering ordering shells before xmas, but we have to see how the finances are and I have to come up with an complete order first.

Would anyone out there be interested in Jade turbos with openings between 1 1/4 inch and 1 5/8 inch? I won't know until I have them where they fall on that scale, and they're pricey so I don't want to go ordering something if no one wants them! As of right now I'd be asking $10 for plain Jade, $11 for Banded Jades, and $12 for Crazy Carved. Once they are shipped and I find out how much freight is to get them here, those prices may be less but I can't say for sure! You're not obligated to buy them if you reply, but I would love to know if anyone else would want any. (Cause I need some for my big guys. ;) )

I'm possibly interested. I mainly need shells that are over 1 1/4 but no bigger than 1 1/2 openings (really need something between the two rather than exactly 1 1/2 but closer to 1 1/2 is better). It's a super difficult size to find and I have several crabs that will be needing that size sooner rather than later. I'm not fancy though plain jade is fine for me (and my crabs). Plus my crabs have never been big on the banded, carved, or pearl shells for whatever reason.

I have to say the crabs love Wode's cookies. I think the Sweet Stars were the favorite, but the others were definitely enjoyed. I currently have some of the "Three Bean Soup" mix in with them, and they've all been taking turns nibbling at it. I recently got the Harvest Box, which will be perfect for the winter.

And thanks for the extras with each order!

Oh god I want big shells so badly. Thinking of sending me a christmas present wode?:
In all seriousness, if anyone here has rats, wode's food is amazing 8) I've been giving a lot of it to them recently, not because the crabs don't like it, but because the rats appreciate it more. I gave one of my big boys a cookie and I think if he was a person he would of cried with joy (but he resigned himself to hiding in a corner to eat it and snuffling everywhere for crumbs later)

Hmm would the cookies be rabbit safe? I will be fostering 2 of my school's rabbits over the Christmas holiday. I have some of Wode's cookies from when she first opened the store, so the original cookies she made. But since they're not my rabbits, I wasn't sure if they'd be safe even though I'm sure they are hah

Yes! Yes! Yes! On the shells. :D

I've just spent hours trolling the internet for turbos. Mainly because I'm looking for something specific, but I can't seem to find them any smaller than 85mm. (whole shell, not opening , of course) That's a bit TO big right now. At this point I'll settle for jade turbos, they are well loved. :D
