I think that the HBH Variety Bites (assuming that's what this is) is one of the better commercial foods out there. Or so I've heard, anyway. I have a bottle of it, and every once in a while I'll put some in and my guys seem to enjoy it. It definitely shouldn't be used as a staple, but I don't think there's any harm in using it every once in a while if it's needed (say if you are going on vacation, or waiting to get some other food for them). It's just as easy to get freeze dried shrimp, meal worms, crickets, etc. from the reptile aisle at the pet store though, plus it's better for them. My guys love it! But HBH should be fine as a backup if needed :)

I also have one of those bottles that came with my kids' crabs they got over a year ago for Christmas. And we don't use it very often at all... our crabs seem to like it... but I don't really like to feed it to them.
