Good pictures?

How do you get good pictures of your crabbies? Whenever mine are positioned well, I just stand and stare in awe of their cuteness. Then when the camera is ready, they hide!

I just have my camera focused on him while he's sitting there and wait till he comes out of the shell and bam snap like 100's of photos... Some are blurry while others aren't perfect so I end up with like 1 or 2 pictures honestly...

I'll have to try that! The other day I had a perfect shot and I just stared for about ten minutes. I'm sure it was very awkward for him.

Yeah I did flash by accident one time and mine like turned around and ran! I swear I have never seen a hermit crab run for his life so fast ever!

When I sit by the tank for a few minutes they get used to my presence and it's easier to take pictures. Just snapped this one lol

make sure the room is dark and the tank is lit up, they can't see you sneak up on them as well.

Gotta be a NInja Photographer! Moving very slowly and holding still helps, also.. I found that my crabs LOVE to run around on the floor or my tables so I will set them there and take pictures while they play. Thats how I got my profile picture of my little guy.

Do u guys think I need more sand ? I lowered it a little because I found two of my fresh ones upside down on the top screen walking across it scared me so much but I guess they can get up there no matter what anyways
