Rowan in the light hood...again!

Hey Lady... Is that an ostrich foot shell Rowan is sporting? My violas won't wear anything else but I've never had a straw try one. My straws are pretty big and in love with their turbos but I got a large struthiolaria papulosa with gorgeous grey coloring off ebay a while ago. So far no takers. The violas will probably use it eventually when they do some growing since they're only mediums right now. I still have a blueberry and a purple pincher in the struthiolaria, but I don't think those are papulosa. They're a smaller type.

Unfortunately I didn't have time to take a picture, but something super funny just happened in my tank: My crab B.J has been sitting on a high branch all night. All of a sudden I hear a thud and I look over at the tank and see these legs flailing around. Curious and hoping none was injured, I went over to check out what was going on. B.J had fallen from the branch and landed on the butt end of his shell. He was flailing his legs around because his legs couldn't reach the ground and he had no way of righting himself. Finally he stopped flailing and thought things through as I was laughing at his awkward position. He grabbed ahold of a flower that was in front of him and pulled with all his might and righted himself back onto his feet. Funniest thing I have ever seen kind of like when an animal gets it's head stuck in a bucket

It may look like his feet are touching the log but they're not lol he is totally stuck dangling between the flower and the log

Maybe you had to be there, but this photo cracks me up because Shuckle (far left) is completely blocking out Omanyte by walking in front of her just as the camera flashed!



Anorith kept casually walking forward for 45 seconds to a minute and didn't even seem to notice that he was stuck!

I'll prolly have more to post later, my crabs are little hams! :3
