Thanks!
Re: Crabitat Update
This is awesome! I forgot they were even in a tank, looks like they are really in a forest. Your crabs are huge! I love how they all hang out together. Great job!
Some days I just have a little weirdness running through my blood :)

Re: Crabitat Update
In aus we can find them in the hardware stores, they commonly used to "house" nails and other small bits and bobs.kuza wrote:Where did you get the containers for the pools?

They're Lock & Lock brand pantry storage bins. The 10.5 cup version I'm currently using are on waitlist on the website but they have a good track record of fulfilling waitlist orders quickly.kuza wrote:Where did you get the containers for the pools?

There's also a larger set of the same type of bins. I've used them in the past but have found the smaller ones to be more than adequate size.

Very weird that they don't ship to Canada. I never realized that. If you want the containers and don't have anyone else in the US to do this for you, send me a PM and we can arrange for them to be shipped to me and then I'll ship them to you.
Re: Crabitat Update
I might take you up on that offer, let me check around the Canadian sites first. Maybe a few hardware stores.

They don't sell to Canada either ! I always suggest clear water bowls as it's less likely for someone to molt directly under it when light is getting through to them. I've never uncovered a molter in all my years with changing the water completely every 2-3 days. Yet I have twice with the food dishes that are solid.

Re: Crabitat Update
i'll be ordering some since it's the exact shape i was looking for. im in the US but could ship to you, or my dad is coming to visit in oct from ontario and he could ship them to you from there. Actuall if there is anything from the US you wanted that you can't get in canada, so long as it can get over the boarder fine i could send it back with him. I'd say you could pick it up from him but i doubt you live near where he does (caledon)kuza wrote:They don't sell to Canada either !
