I was so excited I found the pools at Walmart but now I see they are bigger than yours:( I only have a 70 gallon tank band I think they will be to big. Darn! I need to keep looking I live in Canada also.

They're hung from the top by clear rulers. I drilled holes into the top plastic rim of the tank and zip tie one end of the ruler up there and the other into some holes I drilled in the caddies.

The netting is just decorative netting I picked up from the craft store. The water dishes are Lock & Lock brand storage containers you can buy here: http://www.qvc.com/Lock-&-Lock-2-piece- ... 1?$uslarge$

For ladders I used resin reptile ramps I bought from Petsmart. They are really long so I cut them into smaller lengths with my chop saw.

Plastic craft mesh would work just as well and be a whole lot easier and cheaper.

Thanks. It's a 90 gallon. I'm going to be "downsizing" to a terrarium with front doors soon. All these years with the 90 gallon I've been having to always use a step stool to reach into the crabitat from the top. The new terrarium will have smaller floorspace but will be taller so the actual gallonage will be slightly over 100.

This reminds me of how I felt with my 120g. I ended up downsizing to an exoterra and looking at the overall gallons I thought I'd be ok. I should have paid more attention to the footprint. Just fyi, though I'm sure you've already carefully figured it out. :) I ended up upgrading again, though not as large. I can reach into the 75g from the floor just fine (the lid's a pain though) but still have to climb in a chair to get into the exoterra on top of a 40b (shouldn't have put it up on that stand again lol). Live and learn.

I understand what you're saying, Calla. The new tank will be one foot shorter in length but taller than the one I'm currently using. I actually have a slightly lower number of crabs now (haven't even gotten a new crab in about 2 years) so I'm confident the floorspace will be enough for molting. I'm also going to put a plexiglass sheet in the front so I can have deeper substrate without it all falling out the front doors when they open. I'm working on this project kinda slowly and I'm modifying things to take care of issues as they pop up.

I knew you'd have it all worked out! I rushed into it and wasn't thoughtful enough. I dropped down to like half the length of my previous tank and I'm sure you've read about my mistake with the sloping sub. I know I probably sound like a broken record about it. :)

Your tank has always been such an inspiration. I hope that someday I can have a tank that looks as nice as yours.
