Wanting some pretty flowers

Post by moonbeam » Sat Nov 01, 2014 1:34 pm

So as the title suggests I'm looking for ideas to add some color to my tank. I've seen several tanks with pretty flowers and such and I'm wondering where did you guys find these? Are there places besides the pet store that sell crab safe (artificial) flowers?

You could try catching some on sale at Michaels or any other craft store. WalMart or even Dollar Tree, just depending on the look and price you want.

I guess what I'm worried about is that the flowers from those stores will have dyes and chemicals. Of course cheaper is always better but not if it will hurt the crabs.

Plastic plants are safe as long as there's no glitter or fragrance. I've used dollar tree and WalMart plants a lot. I also have a few from Michaels and the pet store.
