concerned molter has been under a long time

my hermit crab honey has been under since oct 2 and i was wondering if I should check on him or leave him alone he's just under the size of a ping-pong ball and I'm just hoping the molt is going ok hes molted in about a weeks time in the past

I've had smaller ones than yours go down for almost a year, but it all depends really. I wouldn't disturb him at all..that's just my opinion.

It's only been 4 weeks! Imo I would leave him, the bigger they get the longer they molt for. And there is always a chance he came up to grab food and head back down and you didn't happen to notice it. It happens!

I've been wondering the same. I had one go down in August or September can't remember for sure. I did see him at the very bottom a month or 2 ago but haven't seen him since.

It's scary when they go down for sure- you are not alone! I would wait a bit longer. Unless I smelled something funky I wouldn't be super worried.
