both of your stories cracked me up! YYWW, I probably would have done the same thing if I had had hermits when I was pregnant! I was up CONSTANTLY. I guess if I have another baby someday I'll find out lol. Megmaholm, my husband is so used to me wandering over to the tank. During movies, important conversations, while making grocery lists, while he's trying to show me something.. Crab watching is quite addicting Image he usually just follows me over to the tank these days lol. At least during the movies he falls asleep and has no clue I'm stalking the crabbies!

On a different note, Bob dug a trench a few days ago and now it seems like he's closed it? I can barely see the top of his shell sticking up above the sand. What the heck is he doing? He's never dug before this.

One of my oldest and most loved crab lost a leg overnight last night. Terrified it was stress I immediately put her in ISO to try to reduce stress. She seems perfectly fine so when I get in the tank in the morning to smooth out the sand I will put her back in.

My first large came up from her first molt with me and her shell is rediculously small now. I have put lots of shells in for her but she is being timid and not venturing over to that side of the tank. Being stubborn I put her in ISO too with shells. I figure it might make it easier on her to have only a small with her and be in that close vicinity to shells. She will also go back in first thing in the morning.

The others are being boring but I did see an E change shells today. His abdomen was pale green. So weird! When he noticed me he scuttled off embarrassed. "OH no! The weird giant that picks me up saw me naked. I Will NEVER Live This down."

Thats too funnyImage I love that "oh no" face! Glad to hear your other two seem well enough to go back to the main tank.

I did a little clean up and put half of raw coconut in the tat so I've got tons of action! I seem to always see some one running or climbing some thing. But whenever I look in the tat I always get that "oh no!" Face lol. It cracks me up when they suck back in their shells so quick and you hear a like click noise as they pull in. Some times they do it so fast they fall over backwards! Lol!

They need to make a virtual hermit crab tat game where all the crabs are active so we can get our kicks during downtime. It can be a sim game where you feed, scoop poop and change water to get money. Then you save up the money to buy crabs, decor, and special food
Plus you can breed em and sell babies to make more money

Haha omg what where those things called? I think they were key chains or something? You had to feed them and stuff like that. I can't think of what they were for the life of me but I'm pretty sure I had a few of them lol. We could carry around crabs and interact with them all day!

Holy crap how awesome would it be to make money off these guys. We could have endless funds to keep upgrading and expanding :) and all the while MAKING money!
