Pics of Achilles - the crab I posted about being stuck in his shell

I finally got a picture of him in his new shell. Here is before his molt when I first got him and he was so bad off.
You can see how bad his color was in this one.

Now after a molt.

Doesn't he looks tons better? See his new little red leg? I love him. Poor guy did not like me taking him out tonight though and tried to pinch me. Grumpy little guy tonight.

What a difference ! You'd hardly know it's the same crab -- he looks so sturdy post-molt vs sort of weak and flaccid prior. Looking at that pre-molt shell, I can see why he was having a hard time getting out of it.

I can't believe how much healthier he looks. I know not all crabs in that bad of shape in the store make it but he was a fighter.

That shell was rediculous. I have contemplated taking the similar ones out of my shop.

I wonder what he will look like after his next molt. A lot of my crabs aren't very red so I bought some of the color enhancer for straws and it will be here Monday. They will all be extra pretty after their next molts.
