OMG, these pics are worthy to go on cards IMO, if they did; i would be hoarding.

Thanks everyone, I'm so glad you don't mind my "posed' photos. I wasn't confident they would be well received :crabblush:

I can load the full resolution versions if you want to print them  I don't mind if you want to use them for whatever.

These pictures are amazing, adorable, and amazingly adorable <3 I especially love the third and fourth pictures.

On an unrelated note, what kind of camera is that?

Thanks again guys <3
Will definitely have to take some more creative crabby pictures if you like them :D

I use a Nikon D7000 with a 60MM f/2.8 micro Nikkor lens. Fantastic lens that lets me get literally centimeters from the crab - even though they're not huge fans when I'm up that close :P

Lighting is just a "desk" lamp (it's one of those lamps that's a floor lamp with the reading lamp off the side), that I use as my viewing light for my tank. :)

I also have a massive love for miniature things! I have a sweet little set of condiments that I use as my table center piece haha. No one else may get it but I LOVE tiny things!

I love the pictures! I hope someday I can get my crabs to "pose" for pictures. Those are just too cute :) BTW I think I saw somewhere that you have a crab named Thumbelina? (please correct me if I'm wrong!) Looks like great minds who love miniatures think alike! My tiniest crab is also named Thumbelina and she's just as precious as the name implies!

hehehe, I do! Thumbelina was the smallest of the 5 crabs I adopted last year, still about a 3/4in opening but the smallest nonetheless, though she's not the smallest anymore since I got micros :crabblush:

Aww she's precious! Here's a few of my Thumbelina. She was in rare form the night I took these. I swear she was giving me a show lol! ImageImageImage
She grew back that tiny red leg during her first molt with me :) I was a super proud crab mama!
