Unusual crabitat in archives

Has anybody else seen this? I was going through the picture archives looking for ideas and ran across this very unusual set up. I don't think this person is around anymore, and wasn't much back then, but I love how large it is, love the water feature. I just can't figure out how they keep the humidity and heat up, unless they cover it with a very large lid of some sort. It looks like the base is a large flat wooden box.

Wow thats an intreasting set up, I don't recall seeing this thread before. Could you post the link to the thread? I've seen other crabbers make similar crabitats, usually the substrate moisture is what would keep the humidity at 70% plus.

From their profile, this person is/was in Tampa, Florida. If they don't air condition their home, conditions would probably be pretty good for PPs. I'm not sure of the area though, but there's my guess.

Yep - it was on a sun porch in Florida. When you're living where the native crabs are, you don't have to go out of your way to make conditions perfect.
