Love the pebbled hide, grandlinegirl! I just may "borrow" your idea and modify it for the new 29g work in progress

That pebble hide is gorgeous! Job well done! You have a great eye about how much did the project cost?

It cost more than I thought, but probably because I'm in Canada and I couldn't find everything I needed at dollar stores. Here's my cost:

Tupperware containers (dollar store) - $4
Aquarium Silicone (2 tubes) - $16
Large rocks (dollar store) - $2
Pack of dark rocks - $4
Pack of lighter rocks - $2
Assorted plants - $5

If you go to the dollar store for everything, it'd be much cheaper!! Ours had no greenery and only big rocks, not small so I got the rest of the stuff at my work (Michaels) which makes it more expensive even with my employee discount.

Yeah, go for it! It's really fun. I'm probably going to make a few more. I've got a 125 gallon coming and want to have more for them to climb in there!

Well, it still has a slight smell. I don't know whether I should put it in. It's already been way over the 48 hours on the back (made it Dec 29).

Will the smell hurt them? It's not overly strong. I have to put my nose right against it to smell it lol

Maybe wash it out and leave it out to dry overnight? IDK about the silicone in the US, but in Aus it advised to let it cure for a week if it going to be used around fish or other animals just to make sure. I would suggest doing the same to just make sure. :) IF it still has a smell... well, I don't think that something is right there. You might of applied it on too thick.
