Wow, calla! Seems like your pets got some awesome christmas prezzies! :) I really hope that the ultratherm goes well for you too.

(BTW, I feel that you could use another 10g... Never hurts just to make sure! )

Grrrr, stop making me so jealous Calla, the tank looks freaking drop dead gorgeous for goodness sake! Haha, I bet your crabs are REALLY happy for the holidays. :D
When you've been crabbing for so long, you don't even know how many crabs you have now...

A few more little changes.

Mostly I just want to switch to clear packing tape because I don't like the look of the duck tape (all I had at the time) and I still need to insulate it better. And the "tree" still needs a little more work. I hope eventually I can be just as happy with the 75g as I am with this tank.

I love the pots/vases/urns. They give this green ruins kinda look. Are the vines up top from the dollar store? I was about to grab em but changed my mind. Something about the paper-y vine...

The vines at the top back? Those can be found in the reptile section of Petsmart. There's two of them. The plant on the bottom front right is from there too. The "tree" branches are from Michaels. The plant at the bottom front left is from Dollar Tree. Then the one going up along the egg crate in front of the corner caddies, I'm not sure where it's from. It's a piece that came with an adoption.

They come with an attached suction cup and are all plastic. I forget the brand. I think they come in different sizes too.

Oh geez, every time I think I've seen the cutest E ever, someone posts one that I think is even cuter. Those eyes get me every time. Oh, and my hubby said it looks like he's wearing an eggshell. Haha!

It does! I don't know the kind of shell so in my book where I track the crabs I just put "white egg shell". I have a couple others for him, all E modified I believe so I'm guessing they're a native shell to them?

Here's one of them:

I have to ask, how are you liking the exoterra? When I first picked out my tank, I thought about them, but I was worried about substrate level and keeping heat in. I'd love to hear what you've done to it!
