Male? Or female?

Post by Darcy » Sun Jan 04, 2015 5:08 pm

Is this little guy out of its shell far enough to see if it is male or female? I am thinking male because I do not see gonopores. But that may be due to it not being out far enough.

Thanks! :-)

He's kind of at an odd angle it's hard to tell. (In my opinion) hopefully some else who might be able to see can chime in

For me it is a bit hard to tell, but looks likes a male to me! :)

I don't see gonopores either. It is an odd angle though so if you have a chance to snap another pic just to confirm.

Angle isn't right - on the third leg that is the inside of the last segment that's showing, not the bottom.

Thanks for your replies!

I thought maybe he wasn't our far enough. He's a climber, so hopefully he'll give me another angle. ;-)

Will keep trying......
