Ok good to know!
You might want to include moss anyways since you'll be gone for 3 days and he might need a cuddle But if you can have someone babysit him while you're gone, thats a whole other story. Do you have anybody?

You can provide some sand or EE instead. Just something that can sooth him. Typically an ISO should just be a tiny tat where they can be alone. You've put him in a hospital so give him a slice of home!
Especially since he will be on his own you want to provide somewhere can be comfortable. 3 days is a good anount of time for relaxing, hardening and eating exo, so just give him a second home and be off. It will be a good thing for him to be left alone for 3 days.
Is the lid open?

This is good! On one hand, he might be drinking it to harden. On the other hand, its possible he could die. The optimistic thing is that he is shelled and moving on his own. But for as long as you're here try to make sure he doesn't deshell. It seems all the "freshly molted, still soft, die in salt dish" instances involved a deshelled crab.
And, just because yiur hospital is so colorful and bright, make sure he has all the solitude and privacy possible. I know this is a balancing act because you want to monitor his movements and progress, but that one extra peek might startle him the wrong way and make the difference between life and death.
Can you tell me what he was like before this molt? Is this his first molt?

I'm not familiar with ruggies but i will assume he's a mellow crab he sounds healthy. Everything sounds good! Hope he hardens into a beautifully solid crab when you get back!
Crabs, while delicate, have proven to be survivors and warriors. Good luck and keep us posted

Is your other crab having a surface molt as well? Isolating molting crabs is generally only done in emergencies and isn't the norm. Can you fill out one of the emergency templates so that everyone can help figure out why your crabs are surface molting (if both of them are)? If the other lil guy has buried himself under the sub to molt, providing it's deep and moist enough, there should be no reason to ISO.

You don't need to ISO molters. Only the ones that need help. Surface molters, injured molters, sick crabs, deshelled crabs, the weak/bullied, the accidentally dug up a molter...
Normally crabs go up and down on their own and can be left to do that.
Don't ever dig a crab up, and if you do, don't bury them back down. Crabs are mostly best left alone, but especially when molting. You should let a crab call your name for help before you dig him up while he's molting.
But yes, prep a tiny ISO, complete with sand. A tiny home!
