I think your first course of action before getting more crabs should be to try and save the ones you have and figure out what's wrong with them. They're not throw away pets and you should try to nurse them back to health before you get more and they die too because of something that's most likely preventable.
Here's a guide on how to take care of a deformed/lost limbs hermit

Also read through the care sheets here on the HCA :D Good luck!
Thank you :)

Of course I will take care of the sick crab before I get any new crabs :) and also wait until they have had their first molts with me.

I don't think I can nurse him back to health really, as it's PPS (and he did not seem to be interested in being hand fed).
I will leave him under his coco hut and only disturb him to change food and spray water. I believe it's better to leave him be as much as I can and try not to make him more stressed than he already is.

There's a forum on new/alternative ways to deal with PPS but from what I read a while back none of the ideas were proven to help MORE than any others...

Yeah, from what I've understood there are several ways to handle PPS, but as you said none has proven to be better than the other (yet). It would be awesome if there was a good way to save the poor crabs from PPS!

I've decided to go with my guts, and I feel like little Jeff want some privacy and peace right now. I'm just gonna wait and hope that he will make it...

I know some people ISO their newbies for a while for their first molt and shell changes then bathe them in fw before putting them in the main tank. That's something to look into and maybe try for any new crabs. It's a great idea especially if where you get them is "sketchy" or unreliable. You don't want to give your whole tank mites or any thing, you know?
And I agree. My Aries went down under the salt water to molt and when I lifted it up to change it she looked up at me all cute with her big eyes like she was saying "can you please put that back, thank you" lol! Peace and quiet and darkness is exactly what a new crab with PPS needs :)

These guys were my first crabs so I thought it would'nt matter if I ISO:d them or not but maybe I should've :) I'll make sure to do that when I get more crabs to the colony in the future!

Awh, how cute! They are quite entertaining :D

Did you ever fill out the emergency template? Knowing your crabitat conditions can help pinpoint issues. I'm sorry your crabs aren't doing well and hopefully you can find out what's going on.

Yes I did :) here is the link: viewtopic.php?t=102854

I do not think there is something wrong with my conditions. The other two are acting healthy and well :)
