Moving with molters
I need help. We are moving soon and lately my hermit crabs haven't been digging at all or showing any signs that they might be molting soon, but one of them dug and has been down for a while now (I'm assuming) to molt. We are moving in a week and the tank is 40 gallons, so I'm assuming there's no way I can move the whole tank without it cracking or getting damaged. What should I do? Do I have to dig? And if I do have to dig, what should I do afterwards to make sure he's ok? Thanks!

Re: Moving with molters
If you get one other person to help you, it is definitely moveable. Mine fit in the back seat of my car; I have a Toyota Corolla. I would leave the molters personally. How far is your move? How long will they be in the car? I might change my mind if it were a longer ride, but they should be fine even for a few hours. They're going to be upset you're jostling them around, but hopefully it won't be for very long!
