So I noticed Oswald came up.
This is his shell. I didn't think he was in there and he was naked. But I looked again and I can see TINY LITTLE legs poking out! He won't come out but I can feel him moving. Idk if this is an emergency but why is he so small now and why is he ticked all the way back in his shell? Help?

When they molt they use water stored in their body to bust off the exo. After the body bust they're soft and i guess they shrink back up to redeposit minerals in order to harden up. After they harden and move around they will grow.
Not all crabs do the same thing, everytime. Sometimes crabs molt and come up double in size!
