I think the temp and the humidity have finally calmed down and the crabitat is pretty much ready to go.
There are four dishes, two sponges, 2 hide spots and 1 secret submerged one in the lower right hand side (the top of it is a ceramic dish and it goes down to the bottom, a long rectangular aquarium thingie). I got net for climbing/chewing and cholla wood pieces and moss. Two different plastic plant decorations, one that has a tiny hide spot too small for hermies.
The heat lamp is off to the left and the right side has the heating pad. The water dishes will be away from the heating pad (none are filled yet).
What do you guys think?

looks pretty good, youre definately on your way, just remeber you still need space for shells and such but it looks pretty good otherwise. sponges btw are unnessicary and i wouldnt use them in your hermitcrab tank, they just get moldy. remeber to pick micro-small hermit crabs for that size and keep doin whatcha doin
Re: crabitat pic
do you have any photos of the secret hide? this sounds cool, would like to do this but not sure I understand how it works.

Obviously this photo is of the ceramic piece uncovered and the "cave mouth" showing, before it was buried. I had to move around the stuff in the crabitat unfortunately. But I'll post another pic of that and explain...
I bought this piece in Chinatown while getting some bamboo and small pots for my dad's birthday celebration. It's supposed to be used for incense but I'm one of those people that rarely use something for the reason it was created. lol
I boiled the heck out of it, let it dry naturally and then initially scooped out substrate in the right corner. I wanted to place something in the to try to lead a crab to it but decided against that. I buried it with just the top showing, which was a dish that I put moist sphagnum moss in.
