I def dont know. I tried looking up ingredients but its just not coming up easily. It says the material is rubberized resin, but are there chemicals involved to cure it? If more info cant be found, i would say ditch it to be safe.

What about 100% silicone or that rubber "silicone" that people in the ac/heating industry use?

100% silicone is perfect, as long as it actuay bonds and you are able to seal the leaks.
Is the leak only in one place? Maybe it can double as a drain!

It seems there is more activity later in the day. I personally have no clue but if it were me I would just do it the first way and wait out the smell.
#1 rule of crabbing - crabs are weird.

I am impressed. Do you have crabs now? What are they in?

I have 30 Purple Pinchers spread out in a 75 and two 40 breeders. I also ordered some aussies, strawberries, indos, and ruggies from live hermit crabs. Sadly as they were being shipped, the leak happened. So now they are sitting in two quarantine storage containers(with heat, food, water, and paper towels as the substrate and medium in which to hold water for humidity) since I know they need to be quarantined off so as to get rid of the mites. That is why I am desperate for a quick fix, but I guess there is non. Now I have to setup up another 75 and my other 40 until the resin cures and the and the smell dissipates. I used Bondo fiberglass resin (two part) but a smell still lingers for maybe a month. urrgh life isn't fair lol. Rachel, if you know any crabbers that you trust in my area that can give a temporary home for my guys that would be great.

There may not be a quick fix but that doesn't mean you have to take a long time to fix it.
Hope that helps :)

Well I took the long route. On Wednesday I placed fiberglass mats and resin on all of the cornors where the panals meet and where the 2x4 meet. So if this doesn't work, idk what I will do. I am out of town so I will update you guys on Sunday or Monday when I do a water test.
