Raisins

Post by Stefunkie » Sun Mar 22, 2015 9:38 pm

So raisins are on the safe food list as long as there is no sulphur dioxide. I have a box of Sun-Maid raisins and the only thing on the ingredient list is "California seedless raisins". Is it safe to assume there is no sulphur?

I just checked Sun-Maid's site and it looks like only their golden raisins have sulfur dioxide and the regular ones don't, so you should be safe! If there was sulfur dioxide, it would be in the ingredients list.

I guess I could have done that. Lol. Thank you! I thought maybe sulfur dioxide would be an unlisted thing.
