Cool new pet land snails
Cool new pet land snails
I found them in my back yard. There Garden Snails and hermaphrodite so that means they will for surely have babies. If you don't know what that means I will say it but it might be "strange". They have both male and female organs so they can reproduce with themselves, but if I get to many I'll just let them go. They live in a 1/2 gallon, here's some pics http://m.imgur.com/JfRKUAS,3PdUKXY,kVPNtkK
Just the basic 10 gallon set up with 2 crabs, plus a 55 gallon at my dad's.

Wow, where do you live?! They look amazing, better than the ones I find.
I would love to learn more about how you care for them, snails are awesome pets but not much info is out there (or I'm looking in the wrong place!)

I wouldn't mind telling you anything about them I live in Michigan USA that's the mitten looking thing at the tippy top bordering Canada, I live in the thumb around where the founder of this sight lived.
You should always be looking right after it rained, until rotting wood or on plants and rocks.
It isn't known if they enjoy company or not but since one by itself can breed it won't be lonely for long! Just but them in a box or clear crate and drill holes it in. They are like worms, they breath oxygen but need humidity or else they'll dry up.
