My "Hunger Games" Crew

So, while I only have one guy up at the moment, I figured I'd start a photo thread, instead of continuing in the newbie thread.
Caught this guy hanging around the corner this morning. Looked like he was drinking water off the plant, or trying to eat it lol He's looking pretty hairy too, but I can't see him molting in just the one day he may have been under.
I believe this is "Pinchy".

He's adorable! I always laugh when I see them trying to climb the glass. He looks good

Thanks! I heard him smack back into his shell when I first came in, but then slowly came out to kinda stare at me lol

Oh my gosh he's so cute! He's all legs.

Him and Peeta (I think I've settled on Hunger Games names lol) are very much all legs. The two smaller guys have been under since day one, so we'll see lol

I've decided on names!

"Pinchy" is Finnick, my other outgoing one is Peeta, the second smallest is Katniss, and the smallest is Rue.

Ahhh, he's adorable! I love the names, too. And I love how hairy this little guy is, none of my three are hairy at all. Not sure if that's related to size or time length since molting (given their crappy previous conditions). I think it's hilarious that crabs are so hairy! I never would've guessed they would be.

Thanks! From what I understand, the closer their last molt the more hairy they are heh I love when they're all fuzzy lol

So, all but Rue were up tonight. I'm hoping, since she was the first down, that she's molting.
Couple quick pictures as my phone died before I could get more.

My only shell changer so far. I think this is actually Finnick, though still not sure yet lol





And I think this is Peeta. The only one to venture into the second level that I've seen. I felt so bad when I came in. He slammed back into his shell, and then fell after this picture.

So, I might be completely wrong on who's down it seems. They're going to make me crazy within the first week!

My shell changer is definitely one of my smaller guys, possibly Rue. Looks like she was shopping again when I came in.



Of course my phone was too dead to use the flash, but I picked her up and it's definitely not Finnick or Peeta, judging by the size:



Now, either Finnick or Peeta was up, I think. I couldn't get a clear picture with my phone, but at least someone seems to like the climbing area.

Well, our same two up tonight. (I think Rue and Katniss) and of course Katniss was climbing the second level and fell once again :roll: I swear she times it heh I will definitely be rearranging the plants and the other hammock I haven't used to hopefully stop this.
I bought a moon bulb, but apparently forget how little light it actually gives off, so the 25W doesn't help me in the least. I'm considering returning it for a higher wattage. The fixture I got has a dimmer switch which is really cool, so if it cranks the temp too much I can turn it down.

Trying to decide what to feed them tonight, but here's a quick picture of Rue hanging out at the front of the tank when I got home.

Poor Katniss, always running for the hills the moment she sees me. She's going to be really unimpressed by the fact that I found an awesome shelf to switch with the one in there, and possibly move the one in there over the pools (if it fits)

So, hope you all don't mind the amount of pictures. I don't get to see them often, so I snap as many as I can when I do
Tonight, luckily, I have at least figured out who is up right now heh We have Katniss, my runner:

Finnick has far too much purple on him to be one of these too, and so does Rue; along with being in a new shell and much tinier.

I suppose it would make sense if Finnick is the one that's been down for about the entire week, as I'm now sure he's the one I noticed with the missing leg and deformed eye...I'd imagine he'd want to try and molt sooner than the others, right?

Well, I was right. Katniss was not impressed by me moving things. Unfortunately, she was apparently hanging out under the shelf when I took it out. She quickly went back to the corner. Looks like Rue may have been with her and Peeta was in a small hole, though certainly not under as I didn't disturb any sub there.
Still no sign of Finnick, just hope I didn't bug him with any above ground movement.

Katniss seems to favor this little rut someone dug. She's not digging, just chilling.
