New little guy

Post by soilentgringa » Sun Jun 14, 2015 6:18 pm

Just adopted from a family; they got it for their son and he lost interest. I believe he pulled a surface molt because I found pieces of exo in the gravel.

This was the only suitable shell in the shoebin. He'd discarded the painted Angry Bird shell.

I hope he makes it. The crabs I have adopted that didn't make it through their first molt with me all came from poor conditions.

I wish him the best of luck!
Sounds like he's a tough guy though :)

If you are talking about the ad telling people that if they no longer wish to care for their hermit crabs I am able to take them and informing people about crab care requirements, then yes, I am.

Aha, you're the one going to make it tough for me to find crabs to adopt, lol! Keep up the good work!

There are at least 5 other crabbers off the top of my head in the Dallas area and a few more in N. TX in general that I know of, so we are definitely out there.

He looks so good though, I mean for surface molting and the bad conditions. He looks nice and strong. That is one thing I will say for my son He has never lost interest in his crabs. He just loves them to much lol. Won't hold them but loves to watch them and help me pick stuff out for them. I really hope the little guys does great and keeps on being strong. He is in good hands now. Cheering him on. :cheer:
Mom to: 2 Kids,4 PP's, Cats, 1 Dogs, and whatever else gets put on my doorstep. (Box on doorstep. Hubby says,"Did you order anything?" I say "no". He says, "go get it, I don't want to know." Even tho he always ends up loving it or at least accepting it lol.)
