I just knotted the twine at the bottom of the leg, tucked the long "tail" of the knot upward to hide it, then just tightly wound the twine around (and around and around and around.......), tying it off at the top of the leg and tucking that knot's "tail" down into the twine. It took about an hour to do the two legs but that was that: no silicone = no smell = no waiting for curing.meg_and_the_zoo wrote:And I'm debating wrapping the legs of the shelves. I got some jute rope and was thinking of using that but I'm not quite sure how to secure it without silicone and I'm a little too impatient to wait for the silicone to dry
