Just received my latest order from HCA member Shadoe Haffner's Alaska Hermit Crab:

Top row: Crabapple leaves, Dall Sheep Poop (with one of Shadoe's signature itty-bitty rubber hermit crabs!), Fireweed leaves, Birch leaves

Bottom row: Strawberry leaves, Dungeness Crab Carapace, Pansy flowers, Raspberry leaves

The Dungeness crab carapace was finally back in stock so I placed an order specifically for that, then couldn't resist the Dall sheep poop! My guys love the Crabapple and Birch leaves so I ordered more for their leaf bowl.

It'll be happy chowing tonight with that sheep poop :lol: !

All prices are low and she usually has quite a few items on sale for $0.75 or $1. A very nice feature is the flat rate shipping of $4.95, no matter how much or how little you buy. The only time the shipping fee will go up is if you're ordering some of the weighty non-food items, i.e., birch rounds. Orders are filled and shipped quickly: I placed an order last Saturday night and received it Friday afternoon -- considering it's coming from Alaska, that's terrific service!

Filled the leaf bowl with new "flavors" for the crabs from my latest AHC order: fireweed, strawberry and raspberry leaves. This morning, the bowl was almost empty so it's safe to say they liked the new choices. I'll have to stock up on these before AHC starts their relocation in the fall.

Do your crabs love the sheep poo? I too just placed an order for a bunch of stuff from her and I bought some to try!

Yes! In less than one minute after adding one ball of sheep poop to their food bowl, one of crabs, Felix, stole it, scuttled away and his behind one of the plant holders, hoarding his treasure! :hlol:
