carrot tops!

My children plant seeds by basically dumping the packet out in one spot (well, not really, but sometimes it seems like it!). So today I went out to thin (for the second time) the carrots and broccoli. I decided to dry the broccoli leaves for the crabs for winter - I have a cool food dehydrator. I'm also drying some green peppers and some strawberry tops. But I just washed the carrot tops and put them into one of the moss pits.I went to check, and - wow! The crabs are going nuts, especially the post-molt hairy-legged PPs. So here is a picture of Pretty, Mad Hatter, and two other PPs chowing down, (I'll have to check to see who they are - I just barely keep them straight. I think the one in the back is Gary, and perhaps the one in the jade turbo is Snapdragon? Perhaps.) Carrot top eaters!
