What is your favorite type of dog?

My favorite type of dog is the kind that are sweet and smile. Both my lab mix and pom used to smile, they cracked me up! They were both very sweet girls, too. Gah, I miss them.I'm very much a dog person, but have a cat -- go figure.

Lol I can't decide on one, I have a few favorites. Rotties, Bull mastiff's, Pitbulls and definitly the american bulldog. I have to agree with Ringo though, I've worked with alot of pitbulls in my local shelter trying to calm them down because they are sometimes pretty high energy and I've never even been growled at. Now little dogs, like rat terriers and such, not for me, those are the only dogs besides labs that I've ever been bitten by.

Thanks about the Boxer there she is doing her smile we've had her almost a year (july 11) and I'm getting the itch to get anouther 1 I don't know why she is quit a hand full. As for the rottie I can't give her any other food then what she gets she gets sick and will make a mess all over the house even her heart worm meds gives her a upset stomice but she still gets it i just have to suffer all night

We hav ea Border Terrier named Scout. He is hands down the smartedt daog I have ever qwned. And when he sits by you or in your lap its like he can't get close enough.I ould love to post a pic but i don't know how

I am SUCH a dog lover it's crazy! I love any and all kinds of dogs, but pugs and boston terriers. I absolutely love greyhounds too, but I don't have enough room for one in my apartment! I've been thinking about adopting a dog for about a year now, but I just haven't worked up the guts to do it yet! Has anybody recently adopted a dog? How is it?!

How can anyone pick!?! I have two rat terries now, Roscoe and Biskit. They are such clowns and so loveable! We had a westie for 13 years before them, Sparky, and he was such a loyal and sweet boy. Someday I would love to rescue a greyhound my puppies

I have many favourites... -Jack Russell Terriers -Miniature Schnauzers-Dachshunds (did I spell that right?)-Nova Scotia Duck Tolling RetrieversHere's my babies!Billy Joel and Lilly. Billy Joel is a purebred JRT and Lilly's a miniature JRT that we rescued from a mall pet store. We found out she was from a puppymill... and yes, she came with oodles of problems. Luckily, she's all better and weighs a whopping 8 pounds lol And this is my baby boy Scruffy Toto who passed away in May. He would've been 15 in June. He was decently smart but wow was he bad! He bit tons of people, barked at everybody and when he was younger he destroyed many a barbie doll. But he was still my baby! Actually I recomend Mini Schnauzers, they're easy to train and are usually sweet dogs.

My favorite dog is my cat, Alex. Seriously, she doesn't know she's a cat. Not quite sure what she thinks she is, but her favorite treat is raspberry sorbet. Not sherbet, sorbet. She doesn't much like milk or cream or other dairy products.

Lordy....how to pick? I love my lab mix puppy.. well she's not much of a puppy anymore...lol.
