@JG, you have a really nice starter tank so it's nothing to be ashamed of I wish my starter looked that good but unfortunately it didn't and it cost many good crabby lives.

Marshmelo76I vote that your substrate is a bit thin for molting. Though I don't know how big your crabs are..

That picture was old. I have it deeper now and am getting ready to move them to my 55 where it will be even deeper.

Here is my new 55 right now. I might add another small second level using some cake making tier columns and plexiglass.

earlier there was talk of people not taking us "crabbers" serious. I know how it is to. I have been crabbing since 2009 since Kyle my son dumped his crabs on me and went to college I have come a long way from mistakes to finally getting it right. yes my family members joke at me about my crabs and what I spend on them but I don't mind. Cause not every pet is for everyone. If I post a pic on facebook I get all sorts of feed back mostly funny stuff, nothing is mean or hateful. People in Laharpe and my family know by now I never have normal animals.. after all i have had a albino african aquatic frog, still have a 23 lb cat, have had mice..some day I just might get me a ferret!

This is Burg (burgundy) with a half dollar, which if he had not been moving so much, may have been in focus. This is one of 4 in the 20 gallon (you can see him to the right of the food dish), and he is the largest, down to a small-medium. The 15 gallon has 3 in it, all mediums, I think. I hardly ever see them, but I do hear them at night, and see tunnels and food changes in the morning.
