Be back soon(mini vacation)

So I may post something tomorrow, but first thing Sunday morning(3am) we're off on our mini vacation. We're going close to the Kansas border to a tiny town named Welch. While here we'll visit with some friends and DOVE HUNT for a couple days. I have been waiting all year for this. yippie It's not far but at least it gets me out of the house and can release any frustrations I might have. Plus puts food on the table. Tell ya'll about it when I get back Wednesday.

We'll I'm back! We had fun and got to get away for a couple days. The weather this year has screwed up the planting and harvesting so there wasn't as many cut fields we could hunt meaning there wasn't as many birds to shoot and I was out of practice so I didn't hit as many as I would've liked but we still came home with enough to have a few dinners with. I know there are quite a few people that don't agree with hunting, but I believe you can be an animal lover and still hunt. There are some rules like eat what you kill & and never take more than you need & make sure there is still a steady supply( don't over harvest). This helps to keep the animal population healthy and cuts down on disease.
