So this extension has been a huge hit, the crabs are tanning pretty much daily in groups. It's been super stable and I'm not losing any humidity through it. I hope the crabs are as happy about it as I am! Thanks for watching!

this is extremely interesting and awesome, they do really like it no dout about that. my tank is 36" high, but they can get to the top so this needs to be certain inches away?yes ? i am thinking this may change there qualtiy of our crabs daily life then. i would like to offer this, thank you so much for thread

Yes, depending on the version of bulb you use they need to be a certain distance away and then it only works for a certain distance, so it's very tough to include UVB properly in a tank. As long as they can't get within 6 inches of the bulb you can use the reptisun 10.0 which is now reptile 150 I believe.
