I placed an order with this company and was so impressed with their website, selection, fast shipping and service.I had emailed them prior to my order with a suggestion on some products to add to the hermit crab section on their site because it's terrible. They must have recognized my name from the email, put two and two together, and sent me a hermit crab care book and some samples of hermit crab food along with my order! I thought that was a nice touch. They would not have known I was ordering for crabs based on what I purchased so it had to have been because of that email.Anyway, they have a beautiful website----just ignore the hermit crab section and look at all the rest of their stuff! www.herpsupplies.com

There is a downside though. It looks like they are selling KK's and painted shells.

It was me, but it got moved to the regular forum because it turned into a conversation about other stuff. So, I posted again in this forum so I could "plug" them here since I had such great service.

hermitcrabaddiction.com and the hermitcrabpatch are good sites to get supplies for crabs.I get food from the first. It is cheap, organic, freeze dried type, she has lots of foods to choose from!

This is turning out to be a great site for typically necessary supplies. I think overall the prices are a bit lower, and they have a great selection of anything that you might need to put in an aquarium or terrarium.

I am new but I was told that it is ok to use the mesh plastic bags that onions/produce comes in for the hermies to climb on. I read it somewhere on here and asked to make sure and was told it is ok.

Mrs.Tidwell: I bought my fish net from Micheal's, the arts and crafts store. It was cheap and works great.
