home made 2nd level plz help

im thinking about building a homemade shelf for my crab tank what should i use for it wood or some kinda plastic??

I would use plastic, wood can mold and if it does you have to take it out wash it dry it and this takes time.Where as plastic you can take it out wash it, dry it,put it back in.

The food storage containers work just fine or the little catch all baskets work good to.
