Help with gender ID please!

Post by purpleperson » Sun Oct 04, 2015 11:55 pm

This is one of my largest purple pinchers. Originally I thought he/she was female when I first got it, but it dug down to molt before I could get a chance to check and be 100% sure! (I like to double check.. Both naked eye and photos lol) right after the molt I thought it was now a male, but I find it hard to tell.

Anyways, once again I'm not sure, so I have decided to ask so I know for certain now.

Here are some pics. Sorry if they are not the best quality, he/she was a little squirmy :p

Two nice big gonopores visible in that first shot. Congrats! It's a girl. :)

Alright! Yes that is why I was confused, as on my other females they seem darker. :) guess that means I have 3 females and one male. :p

If I remember right, they're paler right after a molt and darken after some time.
