New Adoptions & Updates

Post by Goofball2k16 » Sun Jan 24, 2016 10:43 pm

Hi Guys,

Thanks to wodesorel's coordination I just picked up one new crab in need - he's a big bigger than my current others.

The picture with the 2 other crabs are from another member who needed to re-home his 2 crabs... they're definitely buddies and don't leave each other for very long.

I have 2 other sets of crabs who I picked up from people on craigslist - one pair is up and well, the other has been
down for about a month now since I got them. I'm assuming they haven't molted for a long time but I just hope they're ok.

So that brings my total up to 7 crabs from 4 different people.

I also recently acquired springtails which I just populated my 2 tanks with.

(I also got a humidifier which seems to let out a lot of mist - the whole tank becomes foggy white, so I've been just turning it on for a bit in the morning and evening; the humidity stays in the 80's-90's deepening on when the device was on). Any suggestions or comments on these kinds of things?

Anyways, thanks for checking this post out!

Shorter bursts from the humidifier might help. You can also set up a fan to move the air and/or vent some of the excess (depending on how you set it up.)
